Doruk Günalp is a British citizen, born in the United Kingdom, and an Advocate registered with the TRNC Bar. He brings a strong international academic background and a broad range of legal experience to his practice.
Doruk obtained his LL.B. (Hons) in Law from the University of York in the United Kingdom, where he developed a comprehensive foundation in legal principles, legal analysis, research and advocacy. He subsequently pursued postgraduate studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), completing an LL.M. in Public International Law.
His postgraduate studies at LSE provided him with advanced knowledge of Public International Law and strengthened his understanding of complex legal issues arising at the intersection of domestic and international law. His academic work has given him a particular interest in international legal principles, human rights, state responsibility and cross-border legal matters.
